Elena Patrice:

Consultant,
Social Status

Elenas Headshot

An entrepreneurial spirit is a mindset. It is a mindset that embraces critical thinking and
questioning, innovation, service, and continuous improvement. It is an attitude that actively
seeks out change rather than waiting to adapt to change.
Beginning her early teen years, Elena has defined that spirit. From serving as a make-up
assistant on the Emmy Award winning series at the age of 16 – to being recognized with several awards in the highly competitive toy industry – to becoming an established expert in social media content, strategies and enhancement, Elena has been front and center in her “can do” style and insistence on quality results.
As the co-owner of ee publishing & productions, Elena oversaw the operations of this small publisher of the children’s book series, Nana Star, co-wrote the books in the series and collaborated with the design of the accompanying Nana Star dolls and plush featured characters. Though ee publishing became a casualty of the 2008 recession, Elena regrouped starting another business specializing in website design and explored the opportunities of the burgeoning social media market.
In 2014, Elena launched Social Status, Inc. in Front Royal as a freelance social media marketing expert and business development consultant. Since 2014, she has been providing these services to a diverse group of small to mid-sized companies across the U.S. Client list includes an urban forestry company, childcare facilities, private schools, and the Town of Front Royal.
